ABOUT US BANNER
WE’RE A LITTLE DIFFERENT

We supply and install walls and ceilings, but that’s where the similarities end. What sets us apart is our culture and passion we bring to the job every day. Even more important – we care about who we’re doing it with. That means you! We have a strong focus on ensuring Allied meets the needs of our people including a fun work environment that allows for growth and opportunity. We built this careers site for the sole purpose of helping you learn all about Allied. Take a look around, reach out and say “hi”… we don’t bite.

Martin is a dad and husband, a good friend, a thinker, a simple man… not that smart really. He's 6 ft. tall, an eager student, and a 'doer'. Martin is not as good looking as his partners, in a hurry anymore, or a critic. He's a high school graduate, college dropout, Master Carpenter at 20, a born entrepreneur and quit his last 'job' at 23. Martin created multiple companies, is founder and acting president of Luxe Developments since 2003 and has no intentions to ever complete his college degree. His Mom is still talking to him...

Sebastien is a son, a brother, a hard worker, a hockey player, bald, a beach chaser, a sniper, positive, focused, a 'doer', driven and is a wannabe surfer. Sebastien is not unfair, misleading or a critic. He's a school graduate, received a degree in refrigeration… that idea cooled off in a hurry. He then moved west and started dry walling at 21 and eventually found Allied Contractors in 2010. He hasn’t borrowed money from his parents since.

DIVERSITY & INCLUSION

Allied has developed a diverse workforce with backgrounds from all over the world. We believe all employees have the ability to create value, deliver superior experiences and offer innovative ideas that better themselves, our team and our community. Building a culture that encourages growth and provides opportunity for success regardless of cultural or religious beliefs makes Allied a rich source
of new ideas and a benefit to our community and the construction industry
as a whole.

WORK PLACE ENVIRONMENT

Just walk into Allied’s head office and it won’t take too long to see that things are different here. While we have a board room, it’s typically empty in favor of the couches, coffee and movie area. Besides the physical differences, Allied strives to create a work place environment that is open, honest, hard working with the rewards that come along with success. We routinely visit the field, spend time with our work force and have the field at the office for events
and BBQ’s. Having no barriers between the office and the field help to create an atmosphere of support and consistent communication.

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

At Allied we support our staff – and we know our staff support local charities that matter to them. Each year we select a staff member and show them the love they deserve by donating or sponsoring them as they walk, run or volunteer for a worthy cause. Not only does this support them but it contributes to making a difference for those in the community who need it the most. Culture extends beyond our front doors and into the lives of the people we call family and we can all feel good about that!

We have also gone digital! Tablets in the field and new technology in the office means less paper. While we aren’t paperless just yet – we’re working
on it. It’s just another small way Allied does it’s part to ensure we consider
the environment and our impact on what we leave behind.

LIFE CAN'T ALL BE WORK

WE WORK HARD AND PLAY HARD

ALLIED-SOCIALWe put as much effort into having fun as we put into executing the job flawlessly. Every month, at least once, the team comes together to celebrate our successes and discuss losses as a group. We also hold special events in the summer such as the annual Stampede Party and in the winter our staff Holiday Party. We recognize birthdays from time to time, have a softball team, a hockey team and of course there are some practical jokers. (Watch your back).

Our sense of community runs deep at Allied. So much in fact, that we decided to create a forum to capture the fun and antics, where people can comment, leave feedback and stay apprised of what’s up at Allied Social. If you’re not having fun, then what the heck are you doing?

Visit us at: Allied Social to keep up on events, happenings and the latest practical jokes. (it’s amazing we get any work done).
