Some say Zero injuries is not realistic. However, at Allied we focus so heavily on culture and behavior change that we believe it’s a number we can achieve. Eliminating unsafe behavior through ongoing processes, rather than making changes during scheduled analysis makes Allied safety program one that has already had a positive impact on injury numbers. To manage this program we even hired a full-time safety expert to reach our objectives. Together we can build a culture that has a real chance of reaching zero.
Ensuring all Allied crews and office staff have the training they need to stay safe and properly handle emergencies. This safety training and planning includes fall protection, equipment training, WHMIS, first aid, inspection processes and site orientations. Bringing everyone up to Core Certified Standards also ensures everyone has a certain level of competence in and out of the office. Allied takes it’s safety procedures and training seriously and Allied’s Safety Officer continually ensures everyone is up to date on training and certification.
